For two years now scientists have collected and processed data for the 3400 deaths of men and women and found a strong connection between the age of patients who died in hospitals and the size of their feet.
Scientists of six prestigious American universities conducted a study regarding the size of feet and length of life.
Intwo years, they collected and processed data for the 3400 deaths of men and women and found a strong connection between the age of the patients who died in hospitals and the size of their feet.
Jim Hodge, a Cambridge professor says that “the size of the patient’s body is not strongly associated with longevity, but only the size of the foot.”
Scientists do not know the cause of this phenomenon, but they made a table with the sizes of feet and life expectancy for men and women. Note that this chart does not apply to children because their feet are still growing.
Here is the table that the researchers created:
WOMEN:
- 35 – from 64 to 69
- 36 – from 70 to 76
- 37 – from 77 to 82
- 38 – from 78 to 84
- 39 – from 73 to 75
- 40 – from 70 to 72
- 41 – from 67 to 70
- 42 – from 66 to 69
MEN:
- 38 – from 66 to 69
- 39 – from 67 to 72
- 40 – from 72 to 75
- 41 – from 73 to 77
- 42 – from 75 to 82
- 43 – from 74 to 79
- 44 – from 67 to 72
- 45 – from 66 to 69
