Working on the computer until late can be a serious threat to you. Sitting for too much damages the spine, causes heart diseases, some types of cancer, obesity, type 2 diabetes, slows down blood circulation and high cholesterol. Sitting for too long affects the health of around 50-70% of Americans.
According to the statistics, about 80% of the Americans use the Internet every day, and there is at least one computer in 90 % of the homes. According to several researches, the number of Internet users increases for about 10 million every year.
According to health specialists, 40% of their patients experience back problems as a result of improper sitting and spending long hours on the computer.

In the initial phase patients have problems with the joints, and experience neck and back pain. Children under the age of 12 shouldn’t sit on front of the TV or computer for more than two hours a day. A great reminder that you should go for a walk and do some exercises is muscle pain.
