Ann Cameron, a famous children’s book author, drank carrot juice every day in her fight against cancer.
She underwent an operation in June 2012, when the disease entered its third stage. This wasn’t her first encounter with the disease as her husband died in 2005 of lung cancer despite undergoing chemotherapy. As a result, Ann refused chemotherapy.
Her story was told on the blog “Chris Beat cancer”.
“In June 2012, I was subjected to surgery for colon cancer, and after that I refused chemotherapy treatment. Every day I felt better, but after six months the control tests revealed that the cancer had spread to the lungs, and that the colon cancer had entered the fourth stage,” said Cameron.
She did thorough research, and came across the story of Ralph Cole who was diagnosed with skin cancer at age 26. According to his story, he cured his cancer by consuming carrot juice every day. .
She decided to follow in his footsteps and began the daily regimen, evenly distributing it throughout the day.
After eight weeks, medical tests revealed that the cancer had stop spreading, and the tumor began to shrink.
After four months, the healthy tissue was restored and the cancer continued to retreat. After eight months, computed tomography showed that the cancer had disappeared.
The secret, apparently, is that carrot juice is rich in fatty alcohol and natural pesticides with anti-tumor properties, and carotene from carrots has preventive action on the creation of cancer cells. In a review of 206 human studies, carrots consistently emerged as one of the top cancer-fighting foods. The power of carrots lies in the group of pigments called carotenoids (beta-carotene is among this group), which give them their orange color.
After her experience, Ann Cameron wrote a book on how to beat cancer with carrot juice.
