There are many useful ways of disposing domestic waste.
In some of the past articles we’ve written on the subject of how household waste such as the remains of fruits, vegetables, tea or coffee can be used to prepare nutritious compost.
We also talked about how the waste of fruits and vegetables can make a natural and organic bio enzyme.
But did you know that the remains of individual fruits and vegetables can easily be recycled and used for the production of new plants?
Depending on the plant, for the first step, germination, you’ll need very little soil, sand or gravel.
In some cases a vessel with water will be sufficient.
Some plants will rapidly develop and be ready for consumption. Others, you’ll have to replant after germination to continue to form.
This kind of farming has many advantages:
- You don’t have to buy seeds or seedlings, which saves money;
- You don’t need to visit the store in search of seeds or seedlings and thus save valuable time;
- These cultivated plants and “seedlings” are always at your fingertips;
- You’ll have access to quality and fresh organic products throughout the year;
- You’ll be sure to consume food that has no pesticides, additives and other harmful substances.
