Hyperpigmentation is a skin disorder characterized by the appearance of dark areas on the skin. It’s caused by increased amounts of melanin, the dark pigment of the skin.
Exposure to sunlight, pregnancy, certain diseases, age or trauma can lead to melanin disorders and create unsightly brown spots on the skin.
The exact causes can be divided into two groups: external and internal. External causes come from the environment, such as exposure to the sun, or chemical compounds (betaxolol, minocycline, estrogen, progesterone, and the like.). Internal causes are related to heritage – people with darker skin are more prone to developing this disorder.
Freckles, aging spots and sun spots are caused by harmful ultraviolet rays that damage melanin and result in temporary or permanent discoloration. Often these stains can be seen on the face and hands, however, they can also occur on any part of the skin that has been exposed to the sun.
Trauma or surgery scars can also cause skin discoloration, and even if the problem goes away, the dark spots remain.
Melasma is a skin hyperpigmentation that occurs during pregnancy, although it can sometimes affect men. This disorder usually goes away by itself after pregnancy and doesn’t cause major problems.
Natural Cure For Hyperpigmentation – Recipe
1. Take 1 tbsp. of turmeric powder (turmeric);

4. Apply to the affected area;
5. Leave on for 15 minutes to dry;

Do not expose your skin to the sun immediately afterwards.
We recommend you apply it just before taking a shower. For visible improvements, apply it once or twice a day.
This simple remedy really works, and is based on the principles of Ayurveda, the ancient Indian science of healing.
Lemon bleaches the skin and encourages skin peeling, and turmeric, besides being a great at brightening the skin (and the Indians know it well), it’s anti-inflammatory and makes the skin glow.
Individuals with very sensitive skin, may want to dilute the lemon juice or use milk as a substitute.
