This condition occurs when excess melanin pigment, which affects the normal color of the skin, makes deposits in the skin.

Hyperpigmentation can affect people of any race. There are frequent causes of this condition: age spots often exposed to sunlight, melasma – often a result of contraceptive hormones, hyperpigmentation – appears after bug bites and other skin trauma.

Natural Treatment Of Hyperpigmentation

There are several options: creams, chemical peels, laser treatments. If the situation is serious, consult your dermatologist. You should always visit a dermatologist before you choose a specific method of treatment.

Ingredients

  • 1 tablespoon turmeric powder;
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice.

Preparation

Mix the turmeric and lemon juice well and apply it to the affected area of the skin. Let it sit for about 15 minutes, and then wash it with cold water.

After the treatment, don’t go out in direct sunlight. Repeat treatment once or twice a day and you will notice that the dark spots will start to disappear.

Note: People with sensitive skin, can dilute the mixture with water or completely replace the lemon juice with milk.
