A simple way to clean your dishes from rust and grease
Potato
Peel a raw potato (medium size or a bit larger). Cut it in half. Soak one half of the potato in baking soda. To remove rust from iron pans dip the potato in salt, instead of the baking soda.
Rub the dirty surface with the potato. It is necessary to make a small effort, but in a short time the results will be visible.
If you want to clean several trays or pots this way, you will need to cut off the blackened part, or use another potato. Dip the potato in baking soda or salt, because the combination of potato juice and baking soda is what cleans the grease in the first place.
Tea Bags
You will only need about 2-3 bags. You can use the cheapest ones.
Take a dry, unused tea bag and run it across the inner walls of the pot where the grease is. You will notice that the grease is absorbed in the tea bag.
Baking Soda
Grease can also be removed by boiling it with a baking soda solution.
For this purpose you will need a larger pot, where the pot you want to clean can beplaced. Inside the pot, put 4-5 tablespoons of baking soda and pour water. Boil it for 30-50 minutes. After that, rinse and wipe the dishes.
This method does not require any physical effort, but it takes time. However, it is the most effective way to clean all the old grease from your pots.
This way you can disinfect metal spoons, lids and other items.
