Toothache has a bad tendency to strike in the worst possible moment. Usually at night or when you’re miles away from the nearest dentist. However, there’s an excellent home remedy that acts as an antiseptic and anesthetic for toothache.
The salvation for the unpleasant stabbing toothache is using cloves. Cloves have a number of medicinal properties. They contain eugenol, a powerful anesthetic and antiseptic that stops the pain and at the same time cleans the mouth.
Clove Powder
First thing’s first, rinse your mouth with warm salt water. Take a pinch of cloves and place them on the gums of the tooth that hurts you. Wait for a while and the toothache will be gone.
Whole Cloves
Rinse your mouth with warm salt water. Take two or three cloves and put them in your moutharound the area of the tooth hurting you. Wait for the area to soften. Once it’s softened start chewing them, and the cloves will release their healing oils.
