What Happens To Your Body When You Stop Eating White Bread | Your Stylish Life

Jeff Montenegro · September 10, 2015 ·

Bread is a favorite food to many. Many can’t imagine their day without eating bread. But equally, this carbohydrate bomb comes in many different forms some of which are harmful to our bodies and line, while others deserve nothing but praise.

Here’s what will happen to your body if you stop eating white bread completely.

Bread is full of carbohydrates, and rapidly expelling them from your eating translates almost immediately in the form of weight loss. But it’s not about instant weight loss, but the loss of water that accumulates in the body.

The body stores carbohydrates in the form of glycogen, a lactic acid that collects water. Each gram of carbohydrate retained in the body, the body retains and binds three to four times more water than its weight.

Processed carbohydrates, of which white bread is full, causea sudden increase in the in blood sugar levels which then quickly fall. These crazy changes send confusing signals to the brain. As a result, hunger and food cravings occur and you gain weight.

But that does not mean you have to cut out bread from your diet altogether, but to replace the empty calories of white bread with whole grains that regulate and balance blood sugar.

Unlike integrated or black, white bread doesn’t contain fibers that are more than necessary for normal bowel function and digestion. This is why such foods cause constipation and problems with digestion. Once you eject white bread from your diet, and incorporate whole grains in your daily diet, your digestion will improve.

Also, carbohydrates are food and fuel for the brain. If the carbohydrates are of a good quality, the brain will work normally, without interference, but if the food is not healthy for the brain, the body reacts negatively, and the feeling of malaise and fatigue appears.
