We all know how healthy water is. Drinking water is probably the best thing you can do for your health.

But because we know how the taste of water can be bland sometimes, you can add one ingredient- lemon.

These are the advantages and benefits if you daily consume water with lemon:

  • Like all citrus fruits, lemon is an antioxidant full of vitamin C. It slows the aging process, prevents cancer and maintains your health.
  • It helps in the fight against skin aging.
  • Even if you do not believe in the process of “cleaning the body”, you should know that lemon does help in removing toxins.
  • Lemon helps with stomach problems and improves digestion, especially if you combine it with warm or hot water.
  • It contains antibacterial properties that can enhance your immunity and protect you from all flu viruses that rule in winter.
  • Lemon can refresh your breath. Do not believe the myths that say it damages the teeth. In small amounts and watered down in water, you can only benefit from it.

Remember that all of the following applies only to the addition of fresh sliced lemon in water or freshly squeezed juice instead of bottled water with lemon flavor.
