Consuming one gram of turmeric for breakfast can improve your memory. According to the Anadolu Agency (AA) this is the result of a research, which was conducted in Thailand.
This study involved men and women older than 60 years who were diagnosed with diabetes and in this study it is reported that only a gram of turmeric can improve your memory and reduces the risk of developing diabetes in its early stages.
In this study the memory of the participants was tested before and after consuming turmeric. The results were clear and the showed that the participants who have used turmeric during their breakfast had better memory compared to those who did not consumed that spice.
The results of this study are published in the magazine – “Asia Pacific Journal of Clinical Nutrition.”
Earlier studies have shown that people with diabetes in the middle stages of the disease, are more likely to lose brain volume, which leads to loss of memory and the thinking skills.
