If you’re suffering from carpal tunnel syndrome, these exercises can help you maintain your finger and joint flexibility. Spare a few minutes from your time and try this simple exercises.
Step 1
Using your both hands make a fists.Hold the fists tightly for about ten seconds. After doing this you need to open your palms quickly and spread apart your fingers. Repeat this exercise ten times in a row.
Step 2
For this exercise you need to turn your wrists in a clockwise motion. Repeat the exercise 10 times using both of your wrists.
Step 3
Next you need to make clockwise motions with your thumbs. You also need to repeat this exercise 10 times.
Step 4
For this exercise you need to lift your palm above your head. Then simply let it free-fallflick your wrists down and then the rest of your hand should come with it. Repeat this exercise 20 times. This exercise is good for your whole hand and it does not focus on one particular part.
Step 5
In order to do this exercise you need to keep your elbows and shoulders high, like if you are doing a meditation pose. Now place your hand together and press them as tightly as you can against each other.Clench your fingers and separate your palms. Now gradually increase the distance between the joints in your fingers. Be sure to leave them clenched throughout the whole process though. Once finished return your palms to their original position. Repeat this procedure at least 10 times.
This simple exercises will help you improve your circulation dramatically and will even reduce the swelling. You should do this exercises few times a day, after a hard labor or while sitting in front of your computer. Do this exercises if you want to stay strong.
